Truck 4- 2024 Pierce Enforcer. 107’ Ascendant, 1500GPM pump, 500g water tank. This is Stony Hill’s first ever aerial device. After years of steady growth and development in the Stony Hill side of Bethel, it was time for an aerial device to adequately protect our residents and visitors.

Engine 1- 2013 Pierce Arrow XT Pumper Tanker / 2000 gal water tank, 2000GPM pump. Side and rear dumps. First due to non-hydrant areas. 

Utility 5: 2012 Ford F350. Primary function is transporting personnel, traffic control, brush fires, EMS first responding, and other general duties.

Engine 3: 2005, Pierce Enforcer. 1000g tank, 2000gpm pump. First due to hydranted areas.

Rescue 2: 1999 Pierce Saber Heavy Rescue

Ambulance 3: 2019 Ford F550 AEV

RETIRED apparatus

Engine 11: 1983 Pierce-Duplex. Retired in 2013. Originally designated as Engine 1, this piece was redesignated as Engine 11 when the current Engine 1 was placed into service. Engine 11 was kept as a spare engine between 2013 and 2023. This engine was originally painted green and had an open cab. It was refurbished twice, enclosing the cab and painted red in the late 90’s, followed by an upgrade to the front of the cab around 2012. The bench seats were replaced with more modern & safe seats and storage was added.

Engine 2- 1977 Ford Oren. Retired in 2013 upon delivery of Engine 1

Truck 4- 1971 Chevrolet Mini Pumper, Built by Pierce Manufacturing. Retired in 2013

Ambulance 3: 2008 GMC, Retired in 2019.

Rescue 2- 1978 GMC, retired in 1999.

Tanker 3- 1978 Ford Louisville. Retired early 2000’s.

Engine 1- 1965 Ward LaFrance

Ambulance 3- 1991 International/Road Rescue. Retired in 2008.
