shfd’s newest firefighters

Four Stony Hill Volunteers have recently earned their Firefighter 1 Certifications! These four gentlemen have spent countless hours over the last several months earning the title of Firefighter. Between the classroom, hands on training, studying and testing, they have shown incredible dedication to the department and the Town of Bethel. On Monday 11/28/22 all four were given their black helmets with traditional department helmet fronts. Members who are not certified firefighters wear yellow helmets with probationary helmet fronts until they obtain their certification. Congratulations!
