mutual aid to newtown

Just after 11pm on July 4th 2022, Stony Hill Engine 1 responded to the town of Newtown, in the Newtown Hook & Ladder district, for a heavily involved structure fire. First in units were met with a well involved 2700 square foot home in a non hydranted neighborhood. Engine 1, along with other mutual aid tankers, conducted a tanker shuttle, bringing in water from an outside water source. Additional Stony Hill Volunteers assisted Newtown Fire Companies with fire attack.
