mva with extrication

Shortly after 7am on July 1st, 2022 Bethel & Stony Hill Volunteers were dispatched to Dodgingtown Road near Shelley Road for the reported motor vehicle accident with entrapment. Bethel EMS arrived on scene and confirmed a single vehicle MVA with 1 occupant still inside the vehicle.

Bethel & Stony Hill Volunteers arrived on scene shortly after and began prepping the heavily damaged vehicle for extrication. The occupant was extricated by Rescue 1 and Rescue 2 and transferred to Bethel EMS and a Nuvance Health Paramedic with serious injuries. Route 302 was closed for a period of time while the Bethel Police Department conducted an investigation into the crash. Any witnesses are asked to call Bethel PD at 203-743-5500
